The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Douglas Carmichael can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Carmichael, Douglas James
Peacefully at home in Port Hope on Friday May 19, 2017 in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Vicki Ann Nixon. Loving father of Travis, Matthew, and David Carmichael (Lindsay). Step Father of Erin, and Bree Nixon. Grandfather of Nicolas, Quintin, Emmitt, Rae Lynn Carmichael & Kanen, and Gryphon Nixon. Brother of Betty Ann, Kathleen, Barb and Scott.
Friends are invited to call on at the Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton St., Port Hope on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m.
Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday May 25th at 11 a.m.
