Peacefully, surrounded by his family at The Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday June 6, 2017 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ann Beryl Mayne for over 54 years. Loving father of Jeffrey (Brenda), Tonya Tewnion (Gordon), and Christopher (Laura – Lea). Pappy of Jennifer, Jordan, Suzanne, Andrew, Laken, Holden, and the late Amanda. Brother of Don Plummer (Mildred). Uncle of Lisa, Scott, Chris, Greg, Marie, Cara – Lee, Allison, Ryan, Kevin, and Derek. Brother – in – law of Bill (Gill), Wendy, and the late Sandy. Gord will also be missed by his friendly feline Ebony. Gord will be remembered as a dedicated educator, a loving husband & father and a doting grandfather.
Friends are invited to call at Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton St., Port Hope on Friday June 9, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. with visiting one hour prior.
