Condolence From: Erica Fleming
Condolence: I had met Adam in high school, and had the privilege of getting to know him a little better through our shared love of badminton. As I am three years younger then he, I was able to gain strength and knowledge of the sport through his expertise and talent as his time as my coach. He helped lead my doubles partner and I to win COSSA that year, a memory I will always be grateful and thankful for to Adam. I am very saddened to learn of Adam's sudden passing, and I wish all who loved him my deepest condolences for their pain and grievances at this time.
Although I didn't know him very well, I know he was a good person and that he will be greatly missed by many people.
May you rest in peace Adam

Condolence: I am a retired Army officer who had the good fortune to share a week with Adam in France several years ago. Although 30 years my junior, I found him to be an inquisitive and thoughtful young man. In fact I spent more time with him on that battlefield trip than anyone else. Later, I read his insightful articles for the Legion magazine and wondered why he wasn't allowed a freer rein on the scope and length of his stories. He thoughtfully contacted me after my son Matthew was KIA in Afghanistan in 2007 and I could tell he was deeply affected. Adam has left us too soon and, as a parent, I wish his parents strength in dealing with this heart breaking event. In the end, Adam was a good man....a term I reserve for those who truly deserve it. Rest in peace my friend.
With respect and sadness,
Peter

Condolence: Margaret, Wilf & Alexia- I'm really sorry to hear the news of Adam's passing. I have wonderful memories of spending time with Adam back in our earlier years, especially with all the drop in visits my dad and I had to your house. Even though we were several years apart in age, we developed a bond and friendship. Playing hockey in your driveway, sneaking downstairs to play Donkey Kong during our school lunch hour, and playing for hours in your backyard. I wish I had a chance to reunite with Adam in our latter years to share some stories of our evolving lives. I will be thinking of Adam tomorrow, and know that my thoughts are with you all.
Take care - Paul Cutting
