Peacefully at home, in Cobourg on Thursday July 20, 2017 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Karen Carruthers. Loving father of Brian (Sue), Sheila Doherty. Grandfather of Owen and Tyler. Uncle of Doug (Sue), Paul (Lynne), Scott (Bev) of Thunder Bay. Predeceased by parents, William and Viola Doherty and sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Ken Smith
