Condolence: My condolences to his family. I remember him as the Principal at KDHS, along with the VP Mr Jewel. Mr Peacock was kind enough to send a note to our family when my father, C.Peter Weitzenbauer passed away in 1989. He remembered dad as a fellow teacher and transplanted northerner. Prayers for his family. He was a kind and gentle man.

Condolence: Dear Andrew, Shane, Mark, Stephen and families, Our sincere condolences on the passing of Uncle Jackson. One of our fondest memories of Uncle Jackson was spending time with him last November at Stephen and Christie's home. He entertained us that evening with many stories of the past and present. We shared an evening in each other's company and reminisced about past life experiences, as we sat across from each other during a wonderful evening of family celebration. Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Peacock family for the loss of your dear father, father in law, grandfather and uncle. I grew up in Kapuskasing and went to Kapuskasing District High School. Mr. Peacock was my History teacher and he made history very exciting and fun. I looked forward to his class. When he first came to Kapuskasing, my mother, a RN who was Muriel Brackenbury nee Carr, also from Port Hope, was astonished to see him. She had looked after Mr. Peacock when he was a boy in Port Hope Hospital when a horse had kicked him in the head. She was thrilled to see him so healthy and well. Mr. Peacock was always fair and was a role model for people to follow. I hope all the good memories of him will help you through this very sad time.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. He was a fair and kind man whose students respected him. When he was principle at KDHS he went a little out of his way to help me feel valued and safe after I transferred in from a totally different school system in Europe.

Condolence: Andrew, Ingrid and family. It was with sadness today to have received word of Mr. Peacock's passing. Having only known him for the past few years, and then only through brief conversations, we somehow managed to develop a relationship whereby I became the lucky benefactor of his wisdom and knowledge. No doubt, his life experiences, including his dept of study, had given him the ability to speak intelligently on subjects far beyond the normal range of topics. As you know, he could switch from world politics to a piece of scholarly history and not "miss a beat." However, what most impressed me was his simple and easy way of being able to relate to all those he met regardless of their backgrounds. What a pleasure is was to have known him! How proud he and his wife must be to know they have created such a great family who now live to create their own legacies of love and respect. Mr. Peacock you lived fully; rest in well deserved peace. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Through you, his family, we learned of who he was and the characteristics that made him such a wonderful man.
