The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jason Richer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

We are all shocked and devastated at the tragic and sudden passing of our beloved Jason Roger Richer. There are no words to express the magnitude of our loss. The world has lost an amazing father, husband, son, brother, uncle and dear friend. His forever loving, always positive and passionate personality will be desperately missed and can never be replaced.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating and remembering Jason together.

On Thursday, September 21st, please stop by the Richer house between 2 and 8pm (26 Harvey Jones Avenue, Bowmanville ON) to share a story, a laugh, a hug, a cry, and a drink.

The family will also be hosting a celebration of his life, 'Jason style' this Saturday September 23th at Tower Manor Lodge (5194 Tower Manor Road, Hamilton Township, K0L 1E0). The party will start at 2pm and go until the music stops. Come when you can, and stay as long as you like. If you happen to be travelling from far away, need directions, or suggestions for accommodations or any assistance, please send an email to rosemarie.andersen@gmail.com. Tents and trailers are welcome for accommodation, but please be sure to email in order to reserve a spot. This will be a casual event, and a potluck style dinner. Please bring drinks, and whatever you would like to share. The family thanks you for this help and contribution.

The family is also asking that if any of you have nice pictures of Jason and your memories together, that you please print them and bring them to either event. A memory book will be created for his girls to look at in the years to come.

In lieu of flowers, there has been an account set up to receive donations that will help support Jason’s young family through their struggle. Donations can be made at the Royal Bank of Canada (account # 00432 5032370) or via www.rossfuneralchapel.com

The family is looking forward to being with and sharing time with all of the people that were lucky enough to be touched by Jason’s light
