The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ralph Hodgson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Sincere Condolences To Mrs. Hodgson, Fred and the entire Family.
Very grateful for life's opportunity to be Ralph's teammate & friend back with the resurgence of the Port Hope JR 'C' Panthers of 1969.
Ralph had a unique combination of skill, hockey sense, work ethic, & leadership ... little wonder he was our Captain that year & lead the team by his on-ice example.
Those assets served him well later in his Assistant Coaching role with the Panthers. Studious & somewhat reserved yet competitive, Ralph measured his words & whenever he spoke the players & fellow coaches listened-up. His insightful input whether during games or at practice helped us improve both our team play & individual skill level.
Gone too soon but fondly remembered.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Murray Cawker
