Obituary for John Holman
Holman, John Shuter
Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough on December 5th, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Audrey McGilvray and the late Betty Thompson. Dear uncle of Marta Amo (Steve), Gayle Lattimore (Dave), and Patrick Bamsey. Brother of Marion Bamsey (Ross). Also missed by his daughter – in – law Linda Mackey and her husband Laurie Mackey and their sons Richard and Trevor and their families.
John was the owner of Holman Sporting Goods, a former employee of Eldorado (Cameco). He loved baseball (throwing a few curves himself) and watching the Blue Jays play and later in life he took up wood carving. John and Audrey enjoyed living at Empire Crossing and formerly The Tower of Port Hope.
Service will be held at Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton St., Port Hope on Monday December 11th, 2017 at 12 noon.
