Peacefully at Extendicare Port Hope on Tuesday June 12th, 2018, in her 95th year. Maria Glavici, beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Dobri. Loving mother of Silvio (Marielos), Franko (Kirsti), Bruno (Belinda), and Susan (Steve). Loving Nonna (grandmother) of Jerry (Kristen), Kira, Anja, Adam (Sholpan), Maria-Lise, Benjamin, Simon, Francis, Stephan, Tanya (Ian) and Jeremy (Karly). Adoring Biznonna (great grandmother) of Violet, Luke, and Maddelyn.
She is survived by sister Elena in Italy, brother Luciano in Croatia and nieces and nephews Albert, Linda, Roberto, Loretta, Sandra, Bruna, Floride, Jolanda, Romana, Stella, Maria, Graziella and Liliana. She was predeceased by daughter Giuseppina, parents Lucia Dimini and Vicenzo Glavici, and brothers, Anton and Ivani Glavici.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Extendicare Port Hope for their help, support and caring during this time.
Friends are invited to call at Ross Funeral Chapel on Friday June 15, 2018 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port Hope, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
