Condolence From: Evan Meyers
Condolence: We had many visits over the years, Jim, and we always hung out together at family events. You welcomed me into your family with open arms and even remembered my birthday each year with a thoughtful birthday card. The last one you sent was very special. Mary Ellen and I will cherish our last memory of you. It was, perhaps, one of our best visits ever; sharing happy memories of Mary Ellen's childhood and your courtship of Anna Mae, the love of your life. Given that it was only eight days before you died, it seemed a perfect way to say "so long" friend.

Condolence: Jim was a very special person and an excellent teacher. I always enjoyed our time with both Jim and Micky. Jim helped a great number of students to a career in electricity. Jim was a good golfer and apparently a good cook. He told me that he always baked a pie for Sunday dinner with his family. Irene and I would sit with him at the annual teachers retirement luncheon at the Woodlawn Inn. My condolences to Mary Ellen, Susan, and Carolanne.

Condolence: I wish to send you my condolences for the death of your dad. He was a very special man who was very proud of all his accomplishments and his wife. I enjoyed working for him very much and he will be missed by all those he touched. I was always greeted with a smile, a kiss on the cheek and his love of animals. Hugs to each of you.
