Obituary for Suzanne Rooney Speckert (Wilson)
Passed away peacefully at Hope Street Terrace on Sunday, February 27th at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Hans Speckert [1999]. Faithful daughter of Thomas Egbert Wilson [1970] and A.L.Victoria Wilson [1990]. Loving mother of Wally [2020] (Mary) and Erwin (Mel). Adoring grandmother of Tom Speckert (Viktoria), Kaitlyn Speckert (David) and Conrad Speckert. She leaves this world just as her great-granddaughters Sophia Speckert and Kayani Tissawak and great-grandson Kairo Tissawak are beginning their journeys through life. Dear sister of Ken Wilson (Donna) and Lorraine Campbell. “Auntie Sue” will be sadly missed by many nephews and nieces.
She will also be missed by neighbours and friends as someone who was always there when needed; and by Cystic Fibrosis Canada as a steadfast and long-serving volunteer extraordinaire. Cremation has taken place.
A visitation will be held at the Ross Funeral Chapel Thursday May 5, 2022 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm.
A service will be held the following day Friday May 6, 2022 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Perry Town at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, on-line donations to CysticFibrosis would be appreciated.
