Robert Stanley Webb
August 9, 1930 - May 3, 2023
Bob was born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario and spent the last 20 years in Port Hope, Ontario. Bob is survived by his sons Stuart and Stephen Webb and granddaughter Elizabeth Webb.
Bob was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 30 for over 70 years and often spoke about building some of the largest and tallest skyscrapers in downtown Toronto. Bob loved baseball and sports and was a big fan of the Montreal Canadiens, rarely missing a game.
Bob married Beverly Pointer-Plachecki in February 2004 and they spent many happy years living with their dog Buddy. Bob spent his final years surrounded by friends at Regency Manor retirement home. Bob was loved by his family including step-daughter Vicki Nixon and granddaughters Bree Nixon and Erin Pickering.
A private service will be held in May 2023 when Bob is laid to rest with Bev at Union Cemetery in Port Hope.
