Walter (“Wally”) Speckert
1960 – 2020
With deep sadness, the family announces that Wally passed away on the 24th of July, 2020 in his 60th year from the effects of advanced cancer after a courageous life-long battle with cystic fibrosis. Loving husband of Mary-Judith Barrett. Faithful son of the late Hans Speckert (1999) and Suzanne Speckert (Wilson). Supportive father of Tom Speckert (Viktoria) and Kaitlyn Speckert (David). Adoring grandfather of Sophia Speckert and Kairo Tissawak. Dear brother of Erwin (Mel). Beloved Uncle of Conrad Speckert.
He was proud of his dedicated 25-year career at the Bank of Canada and was a devoted volunteer with Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
