Passed away on Feb, 12th 2018 with his spouse by his side at North Bay Regional Health Centre in his 92nd year, from complications from surgery.

Born in Port Hope, Ontario, he was the son of William and Mary Douglas. He was employed for 37 years at the Department of Highways and was a WW2 Veteran.
He retired at the young age of 52 where he then went on to do interior decoration and was an avid gardener to the end.

He is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Barbara Mary Douglas, their 3 children Susan Mary Douglas of Callander, Robbie Lee Douglas (Gary McKnight) of North Bay, Patti Lynn Douglas (Allen Neill) of Cobalt. He will also be missed by his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday June 8th 2018 at Port Hope Union Cemetery followed by a celebration of his life at Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton St., Port Hope.
